A seminar on nanohertz gravitational wave astronomy at the Center for Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics at The Ohio State University.

Abstract: The North American, European, Australian, and International pulsar timing arrays have all reported the detection of a spectrally common signal in their latest datasets. However, the smoking gun signature of this signal being astrophysical gravitational waves was missing in all of these datasets. In this talk, I will present an overview of the latest results from pulsar timing arrays, and set the milestones that we can expect pulsar timing arrays to achieve in the next several years.
